In the coming decades, the world food structure will face huge challenges to feed its large and growing population. The influence factors include on-going growth of the world population, the limited availability of natural resources and climate change. 2026 7th International Conference on Biotechnology and Agriculture Engineering, as one of the premier forum for presenting developments in the field, aimed to bring together leading scientists, researchers around the world to discuss the priority topics for Biotechnology and Agriculture Engineering in recent years, will be held in Kyoto, Japan during October 10-12, 2026.
Accepted papers of ICBAE 2026 will be published in conference proceedings, which is now indexed by Scopus, CPCI (Web of Science)(submitted to for indexing), DOAJ, Google Scholar, etc.

Fushimi Inari Taisha The iconic thousands of vermilion
gates.
This is perhaps Kyoto's most famous single image. The path
of thousands of closely-spaced torii gates winds up the
forested mountain of Inari. It's dedicated to the Shinto god
of rice and business. Go early in the morning (before 8 AM)
to avoid the crowds and experience its serene, almost
mystical atmosphere.
Kinkaku-ji
(The Golden Pavilion) A stunning golden reflection.
A Zen temple whose top two floors are completely covered in brilliant gold leaf, overlooking a tranquil pond. It's a breathtaking sight in any season—shining under the sun, contrasted with snow, or surrounded by autumn colors. The view is designed as a walking meditation, seen from across the pond.

Kiyomizu-dera The grand stage over the city.
This historic wooden temple is famous for its massive
veranda, built out from the hillside on towering pillars. It
offers a magnificent panoramic view of Kyoto. The site is
also known for its pure waterfall ("kiyomizu" means pure
water), and the charming preserved streets (Sannen-zaka &
Ninen-zaka) leading up to it are a highlight themselves.

Arashiyama Bamboo Grove An ethereal natural pathway.
Walking through the towering, swaying bamboo stalks of the
Arashiyama grove feels like stepping into another world. The
light and sound create a uniquely peaceful effect. Combine
this with a visit to the nearby Tenryu-ji Temple garden and
the scenic Togetsukyo Bridge over the Hozu River.

Gion & Yasaka Shrine
The heart of traditional Kyoto.
Gion is Kyoto's most famous geisha district, with its
beautiful wooden machiya houses. Stroll along Hanamikoji
Street at dusk for a chance to see geiko or maiko (geisha
and apprentices) heading to appointments. At the top of the
district sits Yasaka Shrine, a vibrant and central Shinto
shrine, especially beautiful when lit up at night.
